Other
  • Attendees will be asked to present their student ID cards when entering the venue.
  • Videos and images from the event may later be published on Kyoto University's websites, pamphlets, and other media. The University appreciates your understanding.
  • Formal attire is not required, but attendees are asked to dress appropriately for the occasion.
  • Attendance by family members and other guests is limited to one person per student and requires an admission pass, which will be issued beginning 6 March following the announcement of degree recipients.
    • For master's and professional degree recipients, the admission pass will be sent to their KUMOI email addresses, which are email addresses registered in KULASIS. The pass must be printed out and brought to the venue on the day of the event.
    • For doctoral degree recipients, the pass will be delivered by mail and can be brought to the venue as is.
  • Please refrain from bringing any additional guests to the venue building, which does not have a waiting area.
  • The ceremony can be watched via live-streaming in Exhibition Hall 2. Please be aware, however, that seating is limited and the entrance will be closed as soon as capacity is reached. To avoid crowding, family members and other guests are asked to consider watching the ceremony via the link above instead of from the hall.
  • Those who have a fever, respiratory symptoms, or otherwise feel unwell on the day of the ceremony are requested to refrain from attending.
