Kyoto University is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2027 Kyoto University Amgen Scholars Program.
Supported by the Amgen Foundation in the United States, the Amgen Scholars Program aims to foster the next generation of innovators in biotechnology and to advance undergraduate science education, especially for aspiring researchers.
At Kyoto University, one of the host institutions in Japan, participants will gain hands-on research experience in their assigned laboratories, taking their first steps toward a career in science. The program also features a joint symposium with the University of Tokyo, the National University of Singapore, Tsinghua University, the International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad, and the University of Melbourne as a valuable opportunity to build international networks.
In addition, this program offers a unique chance to live and study in Kyoto, a city rich in culture and tradition.
