This open symposium, hosted by the Kyoto University Center for Interdisciplinary Studies of Law and Policy (KILAP), brings together leading voices from Stanford University, the University of Oxford, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Japan AI Safety Institute (J-AISI), and other global institutions to discuss how public policy, legal systems, and risk management systems should evolve in response to the accelerating deployment of AI technologies.
