Possible class cancellations on 1 October due to approaching typhoon

Powerful typhoon No 24 (Trami) is currently approaching west Japan, and expected to make landfall on Monday 1 October.

The Second Semester is scheduled to begin on the same day, but classes may be cancelled in response to weather warnings.

Cancellation decisions will be made by individual faculties and graduate schools based on the typhoon’s effect on transportation services and on official weather advisories. Students are therefore advised to refer to the "Scheduling of Classes and Exams in the Event of Weather Advisories" page on their faculty's or graduate school's website, and to pay attention to weather conditions and transportation services, as well as notifications from their faculty, graduate school, or department.
