Special Lecture Series in English by Industry Lecturers Begin at the Graduate School of Agriculture (May 10, 2011)

In response to the restructuring of the MEXT Project for Establishing Core Universities for Internationalization (Global 30), stronger ties between the university and industry has been incorporated into Kyoto University’s program this year. As part of the program, the Graduate School of Agriculture has invited industry lecturers.
The series will consist of eleven lectures in total by lecturers from nine companies who will talk about their companies, products, and agriculture from the industry’s viewpoint. The classes will be conducted all in English. In the first class, not only international students but also Japanese students actively participated and listened with great interest.
