Kyoto University Global COE Program tied-up with the Department of Knowledge and Business Engineering, University of Vienna

Graduate School of Informatics (Dean: Prof. Yoshimasa Nakamura) has signed a memorandum regarding an inter-faculty agreement on education & research and international student exchange with the Department of Knowledge and Business Engineering of the University of Vienna (Dean: Prof. Dimitris Karagiannis).
This agreement has been concluded for joint education and research, including knowledge search and innovation management, on knowledge-circulating society, and also to promote the establishment of centers of international education and research for the promotion of human resource development in the Kyoto University Global COE Program: Informatics Education and Research Center for Knowledge-Circulating Society (Center Leader: Prof. Katsumi Tanaka).
The conclusion of this agreement is expected to encourage not only joint education and research and international student exchanges in the field of the informatics, but also academic exchanges in multidisciplinary fields such as business management.
