SCIENTIFIC CONTRIBUTIONS:

  1. Founded the observation network of microearthquakes in the Inner Zone of southwestern Japan to study the stress field.
  2. The study of deep earthquakes including multiple shocks.
  3. The study of triggering phenomena of shallow earthquakes, precursory phenomena and short-term prediction of earthquakes.
  4. The study of stress field in East and in Southeast Asia including the seismicly active period in the southwestern Japan from historical data of earthquakes.
