2nd Meeting of the Association of Young Kyoto University Alumni (June 1, 2013)

2nd Meeting of the Association of Young Kyoto University Alumni (June 1, 2013)

The second meeting of the Association of Young Kyoto University Alumni (hereinafter called the "Young Alumni"; Chair: Mr. Zi Co) was held at Kasumigaseki, attended by fifty-three graduates, as well as those who have completed a course, up to the age of 45.

While enjoying dinner in a "hybrid style," combining both buffet and seated party styles, participants from different sectors actively mingled with each other. Participants left such comments as "I'm pleased that I've talked with people from other sectors who usually have little to do with me" and "Since I just have recently started to work in Tokyo , getting acquainted with many alumni has really made me feel more confident."

At the end of the meeting, announcements were made by the secretariat regarding the Kyoto University Alumni mailing list and the alumni Facebook page as well as future events, including a lecture session to be held on September 7 (Saturday) at Kyoto University's Tokyo Office and the Young Alumni's first meeting in the Kansai region to be held on November 2 (Saturday) concurrently with the 8th Kyoto University Homecoming Day. The meeting ended on a successful note after members strengthened their ties in an atmosphere in which all Young Alumni members were able to play leading roles.
