Class III of the Faculty of Law (1961 Graduates) Holds Alumni Meeting Commemorating 50th Graduation Anniversary (May 30, 2011)

Former students of the Faculty of Law's Class III, who graduated in 1961, held an alumni meeting commemorating the 50th anniversary of their graduation. Arranged by Mr. Jiro Aoki and Mr. Shunsaku Kobata, the meeting was attended by thirty-eight graduates. The participants gathered at the University Lounge in the Clock Tower Centennial Hall at 1:00 p.m., lunched at Cafeteria Renais on the West Campus, then walked around the campus starting from the Guest Room (former President's Office) in the Clock Tower Centennial Hall, passing through the renovated Centennial Hall (former Classroom No. 1 of the Faculty of Law and Economics), and proceeding to the Yoshida-South Campus where the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences used to be located in their unforgettable student days. Surprised by the big change in the look of the campus, they had happy conversations recalling their youth. After the campus tour, the party left the university for a social gathering at the KKR Hotel Kyoto Kuni Sou.
