Executive Vice-President Ohnishi Met with Kyokyo-Kai Alumni Members in China

Executive Vice-President Yuzo Ohnishi attended a regular meeting of Kyokyo-Kai (Kyoto University Alumni Association in Beijing, China) at a restaurant on the campus of Renmin University of China, and deepened relationships with the twenty members present.

After the opening remark by Kyokyo-Kai’s President Hiroshi Matsuno (a 1979 graduate of the Faculty of Engineering), Executive Vice-President Ohnishi briefed them on current topics regarding Kyoto University and the Kyoto University Alumni Network System, which was followed by a lively discussion on the university’s efforts and their expectations for the Kyoto University Alumni Association. The meeting was concluded with participants in a genial mood.

After the meeting, Executive Vice-President Ohnishi was interviewed by China Radio International (CRI) at the Yanshan Hotel in Beijing on the university’s current education and research activities and its international exchange efforts. On the following day (March 27), he was interviewed again by the Beijing Review in the same hotel and discussed similar topics.
