Kyoto University Ehime Alumni Association Meeting held

The Kyoto University Ehime Alumni Association Meeting was held at the JALCity Hotel in Matsuyama.

The Kyoto University Ehime Alumni Association currently has approximately 400 members including graduates of Kyoto University (Prev. Imperial University, the current University, Graduate School) living in Ehime Prefecture.

Over 50 alumni attended this event. At the general meeting, greetings from Chairman Koichi Sato (Department of Agriculture, Class of 57) were followed by Executive Vice-President Yuzo Onishi's lecture on "The Current State and Issues of Kyoto University" and Kyushu University Professor Emeritus Takeshi Murata's lecture "the Coffee Economy" (Faculty of Economics, Class of 66).

Ehime University President Yasunobu Yanagisawa (Faculty of Science, Class of 70) led the opening toast to begin the social event after the general meeting. The attendees enjoyed socializing after the introduction of the first time attendees. CoChairman Kyozo Ayukawa (Faculty of Science, Class of 55) offered the final greetings and the event ended successfully as the members sang the Lake Biwa Rowing Song together.
