Kyoto University Scenic Photo Contest Award Ceremony held

An awards ceremony for the 1st Kyoto University Scenic Photo Contest was held as a part of the 5th Kyoto University Homecoming Day Event.

In this contest, entries were opened to the public and were submitted by alumni, professors and students with the theme of the "Four Seasons at Kyoto University". There were a total of 62 photos entered by 27 people. The judges selected 1 Grand Prix, 3 Excellence Award and 10 Prizewinners and 8 Judges Award winners. Executive Vice-President Yuzo Onishi presented the Grand Prix and Excellence Award winners with commemorative prizes at the award ceremony.

On Saturday, November 12 of next year, the same contest will occur at the 6th Kyoto University Homecoming Day Event.
