On 5 April, the 2024 Undergraduate Entrance Ceremony took place at the Kyoto International Exhibition Hall 'Miyako Messe' with guests including Dr Juichi Yamagiwa, former KyotoU president, and Ms Megumi Aoyama, senior project officer at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), as well as the University's executive vice-president for education, student affairs, and admissions, and other relevant deans and directors.
The ceremony featured remarks from President Nagahiro Minato and Ms Aoyamna for the matriculating class of 2,908 students.
