Annual Conference: "Informatics in Biology, Medicine and Pharmacology 2015" will be held at Obaku Plaza on the Uji Campus, Kyoto University, dedicated to the theme of "Bioinformatics to meet challenges in the era of big data for life information; ranging from environment through medical care".
Initiated in 2012, these annual conferences are jointly hosted by the Japanese Society for Bioinformatics, the Chem-Bio Informatics Society, and the Japan Association for Omics-based Medicine. The aim is to promote research on life information science, life and medical sciences, and pharmaceutical science.
In line with this year's theme, "ranging from environment through medical care", the conference will present results achieved to date through cutting-edge research in bioinformatics technology and its strong potential for future application in a variety of fields. The gathering will also provide opportunities for discussion among parties that have an interest in how research using genome information works for and impacts on society.
