Asia is the world's fastest-growing region in terms of population, industrial and agricultural development, and economy. At the same time, the region is faced with a variety of risks including environmental degradation, natural disasters, and social instability.
In this upcoming symposium, three guest speakers will offer their insights into some of the hottest issues in Asia, with GSAIS and other graduate students presenting their research into SDG topics. In addition, the presenters and other participants, including GSAIS faculty, will together explore ways to further enhance human survivability studies for the solution of global issues.
