Annual cultural events at Kyoto University
The following events are held by Kyoto University every year. Details are posted on bulletin boards.
1. Music concert
Around the time of the University's anniversary (June 18), famous musicians are invited to give a concert.
2. Noh theater performance
In the middle part of December every year, Noh and Kyogen (traditional Japanese play) are performed in classical Japanese.
Campus members
Holders of Kyoto University student identification cards are allowed free entry to the regular exhibitions at the Kyoto National Museum, Nara National Museum, and the National Museum of Modern Art, and regular and special exhibitions at the Chado (tea ceremony) Research Center Gallery. Details are given on the Kyoto University website.
