The FY2014 Commencement Ceremony took place at Miyako Messe (Kyoto International Exhibition Hall), with Kyoto University's President, Executive Vice-Presidents, Deans, Directors, and other officials, as well as former President Makoto Nagao, in attendance.
On the day, 2,197 were awarded Master's Degrees, 158 Professional Master's Degrees, 141 Juris Doctor Degrees, and 608 Doctoral Degrees (530 by coursework and 78 by thesis, received on 25 November 2014, 23 January 2015, and 23 March 2015).
