India's Minister of State for Finance Jayant Sinha speaks at 9th Global Business Lecture (23 May 2015)

The Center for Research in Business Administration (CRBA) of the Graduate School of Management (GSM-KU) hosted the 9th Global Business Lecture with guest speaker Mr Jayant Sinha, Minister of State for Finance, Government of India, in the Case Study Seminar Room in Research Building No 2.

Ahead of the lecture, Mr Sinha and personnel from the Indian Embassy and Indian Consulate General in Japan met with the Dean and Vice-Dean of GSM-KU, Professor Hirotaka Kawano and Professor Yoshinori Hara, and with Professor Kiyoshi Kobayashi, Director of CRBA, in the guest reception room of the Clock Tower Centennial Hall. In this mutually beneficial meeting, participants discussed cooperation among universities in India and Japan.

In his Global Business Lecture, Mr Sinha adopted the theme "The Global Economy and the Emerging Role of India" to speak about the economic policies of the Modi administration. Over 60 students attended, with many actively engaging in the subsequent question-and-answer session and discussion.
