The second session of "Human and Religion" (twelfth lecture series of "Learning Kyoto University's Knowledge in Tokyo") was held at the university's Tokyo Office.

In the second session of the twelfth series, focusing on the theme of "Human and Religion," Professor Shinsuke Kawazoe from the Graduate School of Letters gave a lecture titled "Augustine: A Life of Encounters and Christianity."

Following the text of the Confessions--an autobiographical work by Saint Augustine, who is considered the greatest theologian in Western Europe--Professor Kawazoe reflected on the meaning of religion in human life while participants listened to his lecture with deep interest.
