A seminar for international students on traffic safety and emergencies was held at the International Center in cooperation with the Kawabata Police Office and Sakyo Ward Fire Brigade.
The representative from the Kawabata Police Office talked primarily about accidents for bicycles, traffic rules and such, while the representative of the Sakyo Ward Fire Brigade explained very simply what to do in the event of an earthquake.
The 89 international students listened intently to the presentation.
This seminar was a very worthwhile opportunity for international students to learn about safety for their future lives in Japan.
