This year's doctoral graduation ceremony, attended by President Hiroshi Matsumoto and other university officials, including Vice-Presidents, Deans, and Assistants to the Executive Vice-President, took place at the Clock Tower Centennial Hall.
A total of 229 students took part in the graduation ceremony, of whom 51 earned their doctoral degrees on 23 May (51 by coursework and 8 by thesis), 59 students on 23 July (45 by coursework and 14 by thesis), and 111 on 24 September (97 by coursework and 14 by thesis).
President Matsumoto delivered a ceremonial address after presenting a diploma to the representative of the graduating students.
