CiRA Director Professor Shinya Yamanaka holds a press conference. (October 8, 2012)

CiRA Director Professor Shinya Yamanaka, who received the Nobel Prize for Physiology or Medicine in 2012 held a press conference on October 8th at Kyoto University.

In the press conference, Prof. Yamanaka expressed his sincere gratitude to the government, colleagues and authority concerned for their cooperation. And also said he will keep up research on iPS cells to develop medicines and treatment strategy.

President Hiroshi Matsumoto honors his achievement and effort, promised continual university level support.
