"Thailand - Kyoto University Reunion" held

In coordination with the lecture event introducing Japanese cuisine and dashi (broth) held on the previous day at Kasetsart University, the "Thailand - Kyoto University Reunion" was held at the Center for Southeast Asian Studies Bangkok Liaison Office, co-hosted by the Center for Southeast Asian Studies and the Kyoto Union Club (Kyoto University alumni association for Thai). The event was participated by many members of the Kyoto Union Club as well as other Kyoto University alumni living in Thailand, allowing everyone to deepen exchanges and friendships.

Also, attendants had the opportunity to taste real Kyoto-style cuisine, thanks to the three members of the Japan Culinary Academy, which were Chef Motokazu Nakamura of Isshi-Soden Nakamura, Chef Mitsuru Saiki of Jikishinbo Saiki, and Chef Takuji Takahashi of Kinobu. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the taste of home, and the friendly atmosphere continued from beginning to end.
