at banquet meeting
On May 5, 2010, President Hiroshi Matsumoto and his party visited a Kyoto University's partner institution in China, Xian Jiaotong University. On the following day, the 6th, a banquet meeting was held at a hotel in the city. At the meeting, the president's party and KU alumni living in Xian discussed various topics in a relaxed atmosphere, such as exchange activities between KU and partner institutions including Xian Jiaotong University, and the KU International Symposium (scheduled to be held in Xian at the end of June).
The meeting was lively with many KU China Alumni members attending from Xian and surrounding areas, including those who could not attend the inauguration ceremony of KU China Alumni in October 2009. The meeting provided a great opportunity for alumni to interact and network with each other in a friendly atmosphere.
