KIZUNA's February event is a folding-fan painting workshop at the Kyoto Handicraft Center.
Manufacture of folding fans, or sensu, is one of Kyoto's internationally admired traditional crafts. Participants will be able to paint their own designs on blank sensu, and, after drying, assemble the fans to take home as souvenirs.
An originally designed, hand-painted sensu with a slight sandalwood fragrance will be a beautiful reminder of time spent in Japan. KIZUNA looks forward to your participation.
