Kyoto University Summer Design School is a three-day intensive design workshop that enables participants and facilitators with different areas of expertise to work together in small groups, each dedicated to a specific theme, designing solutions for real-world problems.

A selection of spring-themed works performed by three musicians -- singer Rie Fukahata and pianists Yoshie Suzuki and Kyoko Yamanaka -- all of whom are based in Uji

- Monday 10 July for students of Kyoto University, Kyoto City University of Arts, and Kyoto Institute of Technology (advance registration 1)
- Wednesday 19 July for students and faculty/staff of Kyoto University, Kyoto City University of Arts, and Kyoto Institute of Technology, and members of Design Innovation Consortium (advance registration 2)
- Thursday 27 July for all

  • Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Each team accepts up to 6 participants.
