Fund established to promote Global Survivability Studies

Published on

Kyoto University is accepting donations through the Kyoto University Fund (KUF) to help finance its education, research, and public service activities. In addition to the General Purpose Fund, dedicated to supporting efforts related to student assistance, research promotion, and public service, KUF operates a broad range of Special Purpose Funds, through which donors can contribute to specific programs, departments, or activities.

Among these special-purpose funds is the newly established Global Survivability Studies Fund, which is focused on supporting the University's Inter-Graduate School Program for Sustainable Development and Survival Societies, a five-year integrated doctoral course. The donations received will be utilized to assist with the Program's mission of pioneering a new field of interdisciplinary scholarship called Global Survivability Studies, and to produce global leaders capable of contributing to the safety and security of society.

Kyoto University appreciates your support for the Global Survivability Studies Fund.
