Dr Joseph Cambray, Kyoto University Visiting Professor at the Graduate School of Education, is a leading Jungian analyst and former President of the International Association of Analytical Psychology. Dr Cambray is an instrumental figure at the C G Jung Institute Boston, and has taught at the Harvard Medical School. He has also written numerous books and papers on Jungian psychology.
In his talk, Dr Cambray will illuminate the human spirit by discussing the relationship between Jungian psychology and ecology from the perspective of complex systems. In recent years, concepts in Jungian psychology, such as individuation, synchronicity, and archetypes, have been revised in light of the complex interactions that exist between these factors. Dr Cambray will focus on the psyche's relationship with ecology in the perspective of complexity. This program will offer a unique opportunity to deepen understanding of the human spirit, which exists in correspondence with the environment, culture, and the world at large.
