This two-day conference is dedicated to exploring new approaches to understanding the psyche and the self as well as to examining the thesis of the "Extended Mind".

The invited speaker, Dr Shaun Gallagher from the University of Memphis, has been leading interdisciplinary collaborative research in the philosophy of mind by working with experts in a variety of related fields, including phenomenology, analytic philosophy, psychology, and cognitive science.

Over two days, Dr Gallagher and 17 other participants will discuss topics of relevance to the conference theme, "Beyond the Extended Mind -- Different Bodies, Dolls, Female Soul, and Eastern Spirit", with an aim of transforming the modern understanding of the "mind".
