In addition to pursuing research aimed at finding more advanced ways to generate, convert, and utilize energy, the Institute of Advanced Energy, as a Joint UsageResearch Center for Zero Emission Energy Research, is actively working with universities and research institutes from around the country to implement joint usageresearch projects focused on the study of zero-emission energy, which is hoped to provide an ultimate answer to many of the environmental problems plaguing this planet.
This forthcoming symposium will present lectures by researchers from home and abroad on advanced energy science, FY2014 interim reports on solicited joint usageresearch projects, which represent one of the high-priority activities at the Joint UsageResearch Center for Zero Emission Energy Research, as well as opportunities for in-depth discussions on topics of relevance to zero-emission energy.
