2nd International Symposium on policies for sustainable low-carbon society

The Urban Policy Unit for Low-Carbon Society was started on November, 2009 in Kyoto University. It tries to train those who are evolved in urban policies for low-carbon society. They are expected to work for policy drafting in each municipality with new paradigm about sustainable development.
In this symposium, 3 distinguished researchers from Korea, China, and France are invited to give keynote speeches about necessary policies for sustainable low-carbon societies. Trials by Japanese companies for low-carbon society will be also explained in the afternoon. Engineers, public employees, researchers, and students, who are (will be) engaged in policy drafting for low-carbon society will be interested in this symposium.
