Facilities

A multipurpose hall that can be used to hold various exhibitions and events, including receptions and parties. The hall can be partitioned into two separate areas.

A 500-capacity auditorium (Kyoto University's largest auditorium) . Can be used for international and academic conferences and symposia and special lectures and presentations. Can also be used to host music, film and theatre events.

A relatively small meeting room. Can be used as a space for smaller meetings or as a waiting room when an event is being held in the main auditorium.

Includes facilities and equipment for a diverse range of training and fitness activities, such as a machine-equipped training gym.

A sports and athletics space useable for a range of activities including basketball, volleyball and table tennis.

A lounge-style room where researchers and others using the building's facilities can freely socialize and interact. Can also be used for exhibitions and displays.

A laboratory area designed to give children the opportunity to experience science first-hand. Can also be used to hold public lectures etc.

A laboratory which can be used for industry-academia collaborative research with private-sector businesses.
