The application deadlines shown here are those set by the respective foundations, NOT the Kyoto University deadlines. Due to the intra-university selection process, the deadline set by faculty/graduate school office will be more than one month earlier than the foundation's deadlines. Please also note that notifications, application guidelines, intra-university selection, and each foundation's selection process are generally conducted in Japanese.
Kyoto University has rules concerning scholarship application. (i.e. Students are not allowed to apply or receive more than one scholarship at a time.) Eligibility details and contact information on the listed scholarships are available from faculty/graduate school offices or the Foreign Student Division.
Please refer to "Scholarships for Privately-Financed International Students" for information on scholarships without an intra-university selection process.
