Career Guidance for International Students
Business Japanese Classes by the International Center of Kyoto University
Students seeking employment in Japan may learn Japanese and business etiquette through the classes provided by the International Center of Kyoto University.
The first (spring) semester is from May to July and the second (fall) semester is from October to January. A course catalogue and a registration pack are available twice a year around late March and late September from faculty/graduate school offices and the Foreign Student Division. They are also available online at "Japanese Language Education at the International Center (Japanese only)."

The Career Support Center provides information and advice on job seeking for Kyoto University students. Job information for international students is also available.

Career Guidance & Job Fair for International Students
Around May every year, a “Career Guidance & Job Fair” is held to assist international students who wish to find employment in Japan.
In 2011, the event will feature lectures on topics such as the job hunting process and the procedures for obtaining residence status. There will be booths introducing company representatives. For details, please refer to the following website “Ryugakusei Koryu 'Kyoto'” (in Japanese only).
