"Let's Study Abroad" briefings focused on KU's partner universities held (16, 23, and 30 June 2015)

During the latter half of June, the International Center and the International Student Mobility Division co-hosted briefings on study opportunities available at three of the overseas institutions with which Kyoto University has concluded a Student Exchange Agreement. Held in the Center's KUINEP lecture room, these events were part of the year-long series of "Let's Study Abroad" information sessions presented annually by the Center and the Division.

Each briefing was devoted to one institution -- the first to Universitas Indonesia (University of Indonesia), the second to Nankai University, China, and the third to the University of Birmingham, UK. The presentations, delivered by exchange students from those universities, covered such topics as each institution's unique features, dormitories and other facilities, local living conditions, and the environments of the surrounding areas.

The attending students showed keen interest in these talks; some even appeared to be already planning to apply for the opportunities being discussed and picturing themselves living in one of the host countries.
