Throughout each academic year, the International Center and International Student Mobility Division jointly host a series of information sessions on international opportunities available to Kyoto University students. In June, as part of this "Let's Study Abroad" program, three lunch-hour sessions were held in the Center's KUINEP lecture room featuring presentations by KU students who had taken advantage of such opportunities.

The three sessions took place on June 5, 19, and 26 and focused, respectively, on student exchange programs, English-taught lectures offered by the Kyoto Consortium for Japanese Studies (KCJS) and Stanford Japan Center (SFC), and international internships. The presenters emphasized the appeal of each of these options in discussing various aspects of their own experiences, including collecting information on the program, learning the local language, engaging in cross-cultural communications, and attending lectures.

The subsequent Q&A session saw active participation from the attending students, many of whom already appeared to have concrete plans in mind for gaining international experience.
