"Let's Study Abroad" International Week concludes (11-15 May 2015)

International Week, which is a feature of the year-long series of study-abroad information sessions co-hosted annually by Kyoto University's International Center and International Student Mobility Division, took place on 11-15 May in the Center's KUINEP lecture room.

The five-day program covered several of the increasingly diverse international opportunities being pursued by KU students including graduate programs in the United States, student exchanges with partner universities, internships, and foreign language courses. The program provided guidance on various aspects of each option -- features, a typical timeline and preparations involved, financial requirements, and scholarship opportunities.

A total 217 individuals attended the event over the course of five days, indicating a high level of interest among KU students in gaining experience overseas. The venue buzzed with energy, every day, as attendees followed the presentations with keen attention, occasionally consulting the provided materials.

The International Center and International Student Mobility Division plan to present similar opportunities over coming months for those interested in studying abroad.
