Student Lounge 'KI-ZU-NA' hosts a field trip to Amanohashidate (26 October 2014)

October's 'KI-ZU-NA' event was a field trip to the northern part of Kyoto Prefecture.

The first stop of the trip was Yosa District, where the participants took part in a Yuzen Dyeing Workshop and dyed handkerchiefs in their favorite colors. After a Japanese-style lunch of fresh seafood and other dishes, they took a cable car and chair lift to Kasamatsu Park for a stunning view of Amanohashidate. Finally, they experienced a Japanese-style bathhouse in a hotel.

The event proved a great opportunity for the participants to learn about northern Kyoto Prefecture as well as to get to know and make friends with other students.
