The 'KI-ZU-NA' event for the month of May is an English rakugo show featuring a female performer, Sayohime.
Rakugo is a Japanese traditional narrative art that began in the 17th century and has continued for more than 300 years. The characteristic of rakugo is that the storyteller performs three or four roles. In the upcoming show, Sayohime will be performing rakugo in simple English so that it can be enjoyed by both native and non-native speakers. Once you have seen a rakugo performance, you will never forget it -- you may even find that there is nothing more entertaining than rakugo!
