Kyoto University is accepting donations through Kyoto University Fund (KUF) to help finance its education, research, and public service activities. In addition to the General Purpose Fund, dedicated to supporting efforts related to student assistance, research promotion, and public service, KUF operates a broad range of Special Purpose Funds, through which donors can contribute to specific programs, departments, or activities.
Kyoto University Rowing Club Support Fund, recently established as one such Special Purpose Fund, is focused on assisting KURC, known for its official song "Biwako Shuko no Uta (Lake Biwa Rowing Song)", with its wide-ranging activities so as to contribute to the team's success in intercollegiate competitions and to individual members' personal growth.
