Professor Hiraki elected Director of the new Institute for Frontier Life and Medical Sciences (15 September 2016)

On 15 September, the Institute for Virus Research and the Institute for Frontier Medical Sciences elected Professor Yuji Hiraki (cell biology) as the inaugural Director of the newly formed Institute for Frontier Life and Medical Sciences, which will be established 1 October through the merger of these two institutes. The term is for 18 months, beginning 1 October 2016.
