On 13-15 November 2016, Mahidol University and Kyoto University are jointly hosting an "International Symposium on Global Environmental Studies Education and Research in Asia" at Mahidol University's Salaya campus in Thailand.
There will be presentations on the latest in the two Universities' educational collaboration with their Asian and Western partner institutions, with a focus on master's double-degree programs. There will also be sessions on international projects by early-career scholars from numerous Asian countries, and on environment-related industry-academia cooperation.
A pre-workshop on the 13th will offer sessions on international educational and research collaborations in Global Environmental Studies.
On the 15th, a study tour will take participants to various sites of environmental interest around Bangkok.
The program also includes a Study-in-Kyoto seminar for Thai students on the 14th.
